Chapter 21: The Prophets (Al-Anbyã´)

21:71	And We rescued him and Lot (and brought them) to the land which We have blessed for (all) peoples.	But We delivered him and (his nephew) Lut (and directed them) to the land which We have blessed for the nations.	وَنَجَّيْنَهُ وَلُوطًا إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الَّتِي بَرَكْنَا فِيهَا لِلْعَلَمِينَ
21:72	And We bestowed upon him Isaac, and Jacob as a grandson. Each of them We made righteous.	And We bestowed on him Isaac and, as an additional gift, (a grandson), Jacob, and We made righteous men of every one (of them).	وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ نَافِلَةً وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا صَلِحِينَ
21:73	And We made them chiefs who guide by Our command, and We inspired in them the doing of good deeds and the right establishment of worship and the giving of alms, and they were worshippers of Us (alone).	And We made them leaders, guiding (men) by Our Command, and We sent them inspiration to do good deeds, to establish regular prayers, and to practise regular charity; and they constantly served Us (and Us only).	وَجَعَلْنَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَتِ وَإِقَامَ الصَّلَوةِ وَإِيتَاءَ الزَّكَوةِ وَكَانُوا لَنَا عَبِدِينَ
21:74	And unto Lot we gave judgment and knowledge, and We delivered him from the community that did abominations. Lo! they were folk of evil, lewd.	And to Lut, too, We gave Judgment and Knowledge, and We saved him from the town which practised abominations: truly they were a people given to Evil, a rebellious people.	وَلُوطًا ءاتَيْنَهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَنَجَّيْنَهُ مِنْ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَعْمَلُ الْخَبَئِثَ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَسِقِينَ
21:75	And We brought him in unto Our mercy. Lo! he was of the righteous.	And We admitted him to Our Mercy: for he was one of the Righteous.	وَأَدْخَلْنَهُ فِي رَحْمَتِنَا إِنَّهُ مِنْ الصَّلِحِينَ
